With Narbulut Backup Now, you can create various backup policies specific to user groups and manage backups of all your devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating Policy<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

With Narbulut Backup Now policy, you can limit the file sizes to be backed up and define a black\/white list according to file extensions. You can enter the directory path to be backed up remotely and set the running hours for the agent. You can define an access password to the agent and adjust bandwidth settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Limiting Files to be Backed up<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
  1. Go to login.narbulut.com<\/a> on your computer or mobile device.<\/li>
  2. Click on user profile in the top right and switch to \"\"Admin<\/strong> account.<\/li>
  3. Click on \"\"icon at the top left. In the menu that opens, click on Backup Now <\/strong>and then Policies.<\/strong><\/li>
  4. Click on the \"\"Add button.<\/li>
  5. Select \u201cMax File Size<\/strong>\u201d to determine a size limit for a single file to backed up. (Max 20GB).<\/li>
  6. Select the file extensions you want to be backed up from the \u201cExtension List\u201d<\/strong> by selecting \u201cPermitted File Extensions<\/strong>\u201d from the option \u201cExtension Limitation<\/strong>\u201d and save the policy.<\/li>
  7. Assign the policy to the user groups<\/strong> you want to apply to.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    ***Note: Select \u201cExtension Limitation\u201d as \u201cBlocked File Extensions\u201d for file extensions that you do not want to be backed up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Backing up Folder Remotely<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
    1. Go to login.narbulut.com<\/a> on your computer or mobile device.<\/li>
    2. Click on user profile in the top right and switch to \"\"Admin<\/strong> account.<\/li>
    3. Click on \"\"icon at the top left. In the menu that opens, click on Backup Now <\/strong>and then Policies.<\/strong><\/li>
    4. Click on the \"\"Add button.<\/li>
    5. Enter the folder\u2019s path you want to back up in the directory path. Press enter each time for multiple paths.<\/li>
    6. Assign the policy to the user groups<\/strong> you want to apply to.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      Defining a Password for Backup Now Agent<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
      1. Go to login.narbulut.com<\/a> on your computer or mobile device.<\/li>
      2. Click on user profile in the top right and switch to \"\"Admin<\/strong> account.<\/li>
      3. Click on \"\"icon at the top left. In the menu that opens, click on Backup Now <\/strong>and then Policies.<\/strong><\/li>
      4. Click on the \"\"Add button.<\/li>
      5. Activate the \u201cPassword Protected<\/span>\u201d option and enter a complex password.<\/li>
      6. Assign the policy to the user groups<\/strong> you want to apply to.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
        Backup Now Agent Run Settings<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
        1. Go to login.narbulut.com<\/a> on your computer or mobile device.<\/li>
        2. Click on user profile in the top right and switch to \"\"Admin<\/strong> account.<\/li>
        3. Click on \"\"icon at the top left. In the menu that opens, click on Backup Now <\/strong>and then Policies.<\/strong><\/li>
        4. Click on \"\"Add button.<\/li>
        5. In order for the user to stop the agent; mark up the “User Can Pause Agent Permanently<\/span>” option.<\/li>
        6. To run the agent hidden in the background; mark up the “Run in Background<\/span>” option.<\/li>
        7. Assign the policy to the user groups<\/strong> you want to apply to.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
          Setting a Backup Timer<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
          1. Go to login.narbulut.com<\/a> on your computer or mobile device.<\/li>
          2. Click on user profile in the top right and switch to \"\"Admin<\/strong> account.<\/li>
          3. Click on \"\"icon at the top left. In the menu that opens, click on Backup Now <\/strong>and then Policies.<\/strong><\/li>
          4. Click on the \"\"Add button.<\/li>
          5. Mark up the \u201cRun Timer<\/span>\u201d option.<\/li>
          6. Click on the \u201cAdd Agent Runtime Range<\/span>\u201d button. Select a time interval.<\/li>
          7. Assign the policy to the user groups<\/strong> you want to apply to.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            ***Note: If you do not want the agent to run at the time range you define, select the “Stop Timer<\/span>” option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Backup Bandwidth Settings<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
            1. Go to login.narbulut.com<\/a> on your computer or mobile device.<\/li>
            2. Click on user profile in the top right and switch to \"\"Admin<\/strong> account.<\/li>
            3. Click on \"\"icon at the top left. In the menu that opens, click on Backup Now <\/strong>and then Policies.<\/strong><\/li>
            4. Click on the \"\"Add button.<\/li>
            5. Click on the \u201cAgent Bandwidth Settings<\/span>\u201d option.<\/li>
            6. Click on \u201cAdd new setting<\/span>\u201d. Define time range to run agent, download and upload speed.<\/li>
            7. Assign the policy to the user groups<\/strong> you want to apply to.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
