When you delete your files in Narbulut nDocs Workspace, these files are moved to the trash. Files in the trash are automatically deleted after 60 days. You can restore files from your trash before the 60-day period expires.
Moving a File to Trash #
To remove a file from Narbulut nDocs Workspace, move it to your trash. The file will be stored in your trash for 60 days before being automatically deleted. When you delete a file:
- If you are the owner of the file, it is moved to your trash in Narbulut nDocs Workspace.
- When you delete a file from the common space, it is moved to admin’s trash. Get support from your administrator to restore it.
Emptying Your Trash #
You cannot permanently delete a file from your trash. Files are automatically deleted after 60 days.
Restoring File from Trash #
If you want to restore a file from trash, click on Restore button on the right or right-click on a file you want to restore then click on Restore in the drop-down menu, afterwards you can see your file in “My files” section. If you deleted your file from common space and you want to restore it:
- Contact your administrator to restore the file.
If You Cannot Restore Deleted File #
If you face difficulty restoring files, contact the Narbulut technical support specialist. Call or write to us to get support.
Restoring Files You Deleted #
If you recently deleted a file from Narbulut nDocs Workspace, you can easily restore the file yourself.
Restoring File from Trash #
- Go to login.narbulut.com, and then trash.
- Tip: To find the oldest or newest file sent to the trash, you can sort the files by the date they were sent to the trash.
- Right-click on the file or folder you want to restore.
- Click on
Restore.
- You can find the restored files in their original location. If the original location of the files no longer exists, see the
“My Files” section.
