Narbulut provides all its users with comprehensive notification and reporting services at no additional cost. It simplifies business processes of business partners on backup, data security and data integrity. It allows you to be instantly informed about all processes that you want to know.

How does reporting and notification service work?

 

Our report service has a wide variety of ready-made reports for key activities that every user wants to be informed about. Narbulut report and notification center operates in a hierarchical manner and automatically.

Resellers are at the top spot of the hierarchical structure; they are informed about all the core activities of their clients and the end users who are linked to those clients.

Clients are on the second tier; the client admin(s) are informed about all the core activities of their end users.

End users are on the last tier, they are informed about their core activities for backup operations.

After logging into Admin account, you can see the daily scheduled ready reports on the left menu: Products / Backup Now / Reports.

The reports that you will see are:

  • Not backed for days : It’s the report that sent if one of the backup processes cannot be done for 4 days and more.
  • SQL has not been backed up : It’s the report that sent if for some reason a SQL Database is not backed up.
  • Pst has not been backed up : It’s the report that sent if your e-mail files with the .pst extension are not backed up.
  • File not been backup : It’s the report that sent if for some reason a type of file is not backed up.
  • Most data senders : It’s the report that informs about the users who send a lot of data to cloud.
  • Quota usage reached to %90 : It’s the report that sent when users’ quota reaches to %90 usage.
  • Non-connection installations : It’s the report that sent if Narbulut Agent is installed but not get connected with Narbulut Cloud services.
  • SQL versions report : It’s the report that indicates how many times a day your SQL backup task takes your database backup.

You can manage and make the arrangements you need on the reports in the admin account from Products / Backup Now/ Reports menu. You can determine and set recipients or remove them according to their role definition in your organization. You can add a cc recipient for the reports. You can also view the generated and sent report on this very screen.

From the ‘Created Reports’ tab you can check the generated and sent reports and if needed you can resend them.

From the ‘Notifications’ section on the left menu, as client admin or reseller you can check all the notifications that are sent to the users of your organization and you can view the detail by clicking on ‘Detail’. So, you will have information about all processes related to your organizations.

From the ‘Notifications’ section on the left menu, as client admin you can manage the end user notifications. You can change them in bulk or toggle them one by one. As a reseller you can manage them both for clients and end users.

The notifications that you will see and you can manager are;

  • Group created
  • License assigned
  • License assignment cancellation
  • License cancelled
  • License merged
  • License merge completed
  • License renewed
  • License renewal completed
  • License renewed automatically (If the auto-renewal process was activated when assigning the license, it will be automatically renewed when it expires. You will receive a notification when the process is completed.)
  • Licenses are expiring
  • License expired
  • (License)Package assigned
  • Package canceled
  • Package assignment cancellation
  • Package renewed automatically
  • Package is expiring
  • Package is expired
  • Report created
  • Sharing done
  • Share updated
  • Shared item edited
  • Sharing time expired
  • Share uploaded
  • Too many items deleted
  • Too many incorrect login attempts
  • Incorrect account detected
  • No SQL backup (if for any reason the DB Task fails to back up)
  • Database added to backup task
  • Database backup task added (if a new DB task is created)
  • Database backup task removed
  • Too many files deleted (if too many files are deleted in bulk)
  • Monitored folder deleted (if a folder is deleted from backup list)
  • Low disk space (when your disk space on the computer is about to finish)
